And then I even had to have an interview with the general manager. And I was quite nervous for that one but I think I did a pretty good job. They said I'd find out in a couple of days if I'm going to be hired.

M: Well, you've got to be pretty excited about that.

W: I am. It's a good opportunity and I hope I get the job.

On Thursday we usually arrange a meal in- a restaurant for anyone who wants to come.

W: Well, that sounds great. I really need to practice my French and German.

M: OK. Well, if you can just give me your name and address, I'll send you the form. and some more details. If you join now you can have the first month free.

W: Oh yeah. How much is it to join?

M: The membership fee is £ 5.£ 25 a month, 6 months for 140, or a year for 265.

W: Ah, I think I'd better join just for two months at first to try it. Can I pay by check?
